Buck Betten is Director of Asset Allocation and Quantitative Strategies for the MacArthur Foundation. In this role, Buck implements the Foundation’s derivative overlay and alpha transport program. In addition to managing the overlay, Buck co-manages the Foundation’s Global Public Equities portfolio and structures tactical trades and hedges for the Foundation. Prior to joining MacArthur, Buck was an options market maker for Susquehanna International Group on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange where he traded S&P500, Russell 2000 and various single-name equity options. Buck graduated from Brown University and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Buck is a CFA charterholder.
