Yann joined Banque Pictet in Geneva in September 2019 and is currently running the Principal Trading Derivatives team for PTS (Pictet Trading & Sales).
Yann started his career in London in 2004 for Goldman Sachs in Equity Derivatives Trading and moved to Lehman Brothers in mid-2005 to run Credit Volatility Trading in Europe. Yann was actively trading Credit Options in 2007 during the Credit Crisis and moved to Merrill Lynch at the beginning of 2008 to trade the Eurostoxx Volatility book, mainly focusing on building convex portfolios during market sell-off. After the merger with Bank of America, Yann continued to focus his efforts on trading Equity Volatility in Europe for BAML, and benefited from depressed levels on dividends during market recovery.
In 2011, Yann joined EFG Financial Products in Zurich. As Head of Index Trading, Yann was initially focusing on Index Delta1, Vanilla and Exotics Risks. After the IPO in 2012, Yann continued to drive the Index Trading initiatives for Leonteq Securities. Yann then became Global Head of Market Risk within the Trading division and was responsible as a Managing Director for risk across the entire Trading desk, ensuring a coordinated and harmonized approach across books and asset classes with regards to positions and marking, also running macro desk hedges and improving the Structured Products Trading platform.
Yann then moved to Argentiere Capital in Zug at the beginning of 2017 as a Portfolio Manager, running Global Macro Cross Assets Relative Value Strategies (Equity, FX and Credit) mainly through Derivatives (Volatility and Correlation) with a Long Vol bias.
Yann graduated from HEC School of Management in Paris with a specialisation in Finance.
